Hello, impact.com!

My name is Warren Corpus, and I am reaching out because I believe my more than 20 years in affiliate and performance marketing coupled with my familiarity with the impact.com partner management platform makes the perfect candidate to join your team.

I am an affiliate marketing industry pioneer and veteran – since the early 2000s I’ve worked on virtually every side of the “performance marketing triangle” – from managing one of the first affiliate programs (onResponse.com/ValueClick), to being a large publisher (Vayan Email), to running an affiliate network (VayanPays – back in the days of DirectTrack and Commission Junction), and finally, in the “center of the triangle” as the tracking technology – most recently, I spent nearly seven years as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at HitPath, an industry-leading SaaS performance and affiliate tracking company, where I managed sales, marketing, demonstrations, and industry events.

After more than two decades in this business, I believe I understand the people, technology, economics, and relationships that make performance marketing work. My experience includes affiliate program management, SaaS sales, sales-team leadership, publisher relationships, CPA/CPL/CPS and revenue-share campaigns, email marketing, compliance, and presenting complex industry concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

My familiarity with impact.com goes farther than being a user of the platform or watching the industry grow among one of your co-founders.  In my consulting, I often run across chances to introduce others to the impact.com platform.  In fact, this past February at a University of Florida alumni leadership conference, I was educating clubs from around the nation on how to use affiliate marketing for alumni club revenue, and I used impact.com as the platform in my demonstration:

I would welcome the opportunity to speak with the impact.com team about where my experience could be most valuable. I suspect that my combination of industry history, sales and marketing experience, technical familiarity, and existing relationships within the performance marketing ecosystem could make for an unusually good fit.

Thank you for your consideration,

Warren Corpus
